Coming Opportunities WOMEN OF THE WORD (WOW) BIBLE STUDY STARTING MARCH 2, 2010 (NOTE THE NEW DATE) WOW will be meeting every 1st and 3rd Tuesday in the Fellowship Hall. We are using the study "He Speaks to Me: Preparing to Hear from God" from Priscilla Shirer's Going Beyond Ministries. All ladies are encouraged to come out and bring a friend.
Light refreshments will be served.

MISSIONS EMPHASIS WEEKEND Friday, Feb 26 to Sunday, Feb 28 This year's theme was "No Cost Too Great."
The weekend started on Friday evening with Food and Fellowship at 6:30 followed by a special mission's Worship Service at 7:15 pm.
On Saturday morning there was a breakfast at 9:15 am in the Fellowship Hall.
On Sunday morning during the Sunday School hour we had a missionary panel followed by a "Moment with Missionary Bobby Baden" and a special challenge from our key note speaker, Jim Hertzler.

Thank the Lord for the more than 55 individuals who served on the short term 2009 mission teams sponsored by our school ministry, GBCS. Many lives were touched and changed through these ministries. Pray as we plan for this coming year that the Lord will open doors and hearts this coming Spring and Summer.

On Sunday, July 19, the mission teams shared some of their experiences during the morning worship service.
